Youth Opportunites

  • Youth in Power Internship

Our Youth in Power Internship program offers hands-on opportunities for students to get involve in their local communities. This 3-month internship is remote and offers a unique opportunity to build a portfolio.

  • The Waverly Zine Project

In collaboration with On Waverly, our Waverly Zine Project gives high school students the opportunity to connect with one another while exploring the Chinatown community. Their final result is a collaborative zine!

  • Baos & Prep

In collaboration with On Waverly, we offer 45min sessions with high school students who are looking for extra eyes on their college essays.

  • My experience has become a great stepping stone for me to explore art, culture, and activism in a more interdisciplinary way, even beyond the field of Asian American studies.

    Emma, Youth in Power Alum

  • You were such an integral part of my application process, both mentally and writing-wise, and I know I could not have achieved this without you! I feel extremely lucky and fortunate to have gotten to know you through Baos and Prep!

    Melinda, Bao and Prep Participant

  • Through Youth in Power, I was able to meet so many amazing people / prominent figures – influential activists, famous jazz musicians, professors, and more! I've been sent writings, attended jazz concerts, helped design curricula, and I've loved every minute of it.
