This module focuses on historical and current day struggles of food justice, integrating an ethnic studies and social justice framework developed by Dr. Allyson Tintiangco-Cubales. Each lesson is aligned with the California Common Core State Standards and Learning for Justice's Social Justice standards. With each module designed for grades 2-3, 4-5, and 6-8, these supplemental lesson guides span across English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, and Art. Each lesson guide includes an overview, critical concepts, introduction, case study, community-based activity, and ending question or activity.
