Curriculum for Today, Change for Tomorrow

Meet REALSOUL

At the Crossroads of Social Justice, Art, and Community

REALSOUL is a curriculum-based arts organization that creates K–8 educational resources and workshops rooted in arts, community, and action. We work with educators, families, and youth through creative, transformative learning experiences that center the intersectional stories of marginalized communities.

Our Services

  • Educator Guides

Our curriculum brings intersectional stories of marginalized communities into elementary and middle school classrooms, helping students connect history to their own experiences and envision a more just world.

  • The Artisan's Table: Food, Fiber & Freedom

The Artisan’s Table brings the arts out of the studio and off the stage and into the classroom, creating opportunities for educators to gather, connect, and create.

  • Youth & Community

We collaborate with community festivals, events, and schools to ensure the history we teach in classrooms inspires action and connection far beyond their walls.

Our Teaching Philosophy

REALSOUL’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the revolutionary legacy of the Third World Liberation Front and the Ethnic Studies movement. We believe curriculum should be accessible, artful, and grounded in the lived experiences of marginalized communities. Through storytelling, creativity, and community-rooted learning, we create space for reflection, resistance, and collective action — starting in K–8 classrooms.
