Our curriculum and resources for Strong Women, Strong World center Asian Pacific Islander Desi American women at their best and occassionally at their worst. Our anger, fears, joys, and passion are all worth celebrating and with these complexities, we begin to open up the diverse experiences of APIDA women.
About our 30 Under 30: In March 2023, REALSOUL and Creatively Asian have partnered up to detail the amazing accomplishments of young Asian Pacific Islander women under the age of 30. With topics ranging from LGBTQ+ to environmental justice to feminism, these young trailblazers are making history and destorying patriarchy in the process.
Selection Process: We Google’d to see who was doing what and how they were making a change. Honestly, there are so many amazing young women doing crazy things to better the future. We chose only thirty of them from around the world who are making waves along the press, but that definitely doesn’t limit the work that they’re doing.
Want to nominate someone for next year? Contact us and we’d LOVE to hear their story!
About our Partner: Creatively Asian is a platform intended to connect creative Asian youth from around the world and advocate for more Asians in theatre, TV, film, art, dance, and more! This youth-based organization is focused on shedding light on a largely underrepresented group in the creative arts and building a community where Asians can share their stories through various art forms. The CA team also hopes to combat the mass xenophobia and racist Asian stereotypes currently proliferating across America due to the Coronavirus as well as stand in solidarity with our fellow minorities against racism in general, and raise funds for a variety of causes.
